Ancora Imparo: I Am Still Learning

I often think back to a trip I took to Italy a few years ago. One of my favorite places was Florence. Renowned for its architecture and art, the city was shaped by the genius of Michelangelo.

A polymath of extraordinary talent, Michelangelo is said to have declared, "Ancora imparo" ("I am still learning."). He was 87 at the time.

What a remarkable statement. One of history's greatest minds possessed the humility and integrity to remain a lifelong learner.

What a model for us all as we are committed to Excellence.

So, as we begin this new school year, may every faculty, family, student, and staff member embody that same spirit: Ancora imparo.
